KidzGym Learning Center is childcare institute based in Cebu, helping children with developmental needs grow in confidence and independence through child-centered, compassionate, and collaborative care. Assessment and
Consultation

Our licensed occupational therapists provide comprehensive developmental assessments to understand your child’s strengths, needs, and recommended interventions. These evaluations guide individualized therapy plans and help families know how to support their child at home.

What To Expect
Your child will be observed and evaluated using appropriate tools and activities. Results are discussed with you, along with recommendations for therapy and practical strategies for everyday life.

Therapy
Sessions

As a trusted occupational therapy center in Cebu, we provide individualized interventions designed to support your child’s developmental needs and build skills for independence and better daily functioning. We offer the following therapy services:

Occupational Therapy
Helps children build cognitive, motor, sensory, social, and daily living skills—boosting confidence and independence. Our OT program uses an interdisciplinary approach to ensure well-rounded support tailored to each child.

Speech Therapy
Supports children with communication challenges express themselves and understand others. If you notice stuttering, unclear speech, or difficulty expressing or processing language, our speech therapist can create a personalized program to improve speech and build confidence.

Dyad & Group Therapy
Children who progress beyond one-on-one sessions may join dyad or group settings to develop peer interaction, cooperation, and social skills.

School Readiness
Programs

Our programs prepare children for inclusive learning and build skills in social, academic, and daily life domains. We offer:

Group Classes
Developmentally appropriate and child-friendly classes that build social, motor, communication, academic, and adaptive skills through individualized education plans. Levels include Playgroup, Nursery 1, Nursery 2, and Transition Class to Kindergarten.

Pre-Vocational Class

Designed for young adults with developmental needs to build functional and vocational skills, increase independence, and support social integration

Tutorials
Academic support from Kindergarten to Grade 12 in all subject areas. Our teachers monitor progress, coordinate with schools, and support academic and behavior growth.

Shadow Teaching
For children with special needs in mainstream or inclusive classrooms who need extra support, we provide knowledgeable shadow teachers skilled in learning strategies and behavior techniques to assist in school.

Social Skills
Training Programs

Play and social skills are essential for a child’s confidence, relationships, and overall quality of life. Without them, children may experience isolation, frustration, and difficulty coping with everyday challenges.

Through guided play and interaction, children learn how to connect with others and become active, capable members of their community.

Our social skills training groups (4–10 children) provide structured opportunities to practice communication, emotional regulation, problem-solving, and peer interaction.

These sessions help children cope with social demands, resolve conflicts, learn through observation, and participate meaningfully in shared play.

Program levels include:

Beginning (ages 3–5)
Intermediate (ages 5–9)
Advanced (ages 10+)

Sessions are held every Saturday morning.

Growing With the Right Support

I am a proud parent of Zayne Andrew, now 3 years old. Before therapy and school interventions, Andrew struggled with communication, eye contact, following instructions, and managing frustration, making daily routines and social situations very challenging. At 2 years old, he began occupational therapy and classroom support at Kidz Gym Learning Center, and with the patience, creativity, and understanding of his teachers and therapists—especially Teacher Angel, Teacher Eyon, Teacher Din, and his former teacher, Teacher Julie—Andrew has made meaningful progress.

Today, he communicates using words and gestures, follows simple instructions, sits in class, improves academically, loves singing, and is beginning to interact with other children, showing us that with consistency, teamwork, and love, progress is always possible.

Progress We’re Thankful For

That decision brought me to enrol Jami in Kidz Gym for his OT since January of 2022, and we’ve been here for two years now. A lot of wonderful things happened to Jami while being enrolled and getting his therapies here in Kidz Gym, and he gained tremendous improvements along the way. Today, he is able to understand simple commands like get up, close the door, throw this, clean this, change your pam-pam, put on your clothes, and many others.

More than learning the basic things a kid like him should already be knowing, we are more happy to see Jami grow up to be confident, smart, a little bit naughty on the side, while staying lovable and growing more lovable and affectionate each day.
